About Jason Glikman

PT, DPT, CDNT

I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland at College Park and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in Portland, ME.

In 2021, I discovered the power of Fascial Counterstrain (FCS), a fascial inflammation drainage technique developed by Brian Tuckey, PT, OCS, JSCCI. I now specialize in this technique due to its superior carryover for patients and the ability to treat with a whole body approach. I am proud to have studied under, and worked with, Mr. Tuckey.

FAQs

  • We are conveniently located off of Shady Grove Rd., across the street from Truist Bank and Burger King.

  • Yes! There is a free parking lot directly in front of the office.

  • Each appointment is 60 minutes, 1-on-1 with the physical therapist. The appointment will consist of a complete evaluation of the reason for your visit, a detailed history, and a full examination of the body to determine what is contributing to your condition.

  • Clients should expect a full examination and highly skilled manual therapy tailored to their individual needs. They should also expect a home exercise/activity program to complement their healing journey.

  • Cash, check, venmo, and credit cards, including FSA/HSA cards. Please note that there is a 2% charge for credit card usage.

  • Maryland is a direct access state, which means that anyone may be seen by a Physical Therapist without a referral. Please keep in mind that some insurances may require a referral for physical therapy, which may be required if you are planning to submit for out of network benefits.

  • On Point Physical Therapy is a fee-for-service provider and is not in-network with any insurances. While the out of pocket cost may seem more expensive initially, it actually turns out to be similar for a higher quality of care. For example, patient copays generally range from $30-$50, have a deductible, or a coinsurance. The majority of in-network clinics will see a patient 2-3 times per week, thus costing between $60-$150 per week. A fee-for-service practice allows for patients to receive high quality, personalized, 1-on-1 care that fits their needs at 1 time per week for very close to the same price as if you were attending an in-network clinic. Care can be provided based on the needs of the patient, rather than what the insurance will pay for. Providing this high standard of care allows patients to recover faster with fewer visits.

  • Yes! Superbills may be created if you would like to submit to your insurance company for out of network benefits.
